AREF FutureGen Network* Summer Networking
With ESG Speaker Claire Bradbury discussing her book 'Dwellbeing: Finding a Home in the City'

Thursday 14th July 2022

We are delighted to invite members of the FutureGen Network to join our Summer Networking event, kindly hosted at Fidelity's rooftop bar, overlooking St. Pauls Cathedral.

The event will start with a 30 minute speed-networking session, where futureGen members are split into pairs for a 3 minute discussion before moving onto the next person. This is a fantastic way for those who are new to the FutureGen Network, or have joined the event alone to meet 10-15 new people ahead of the main event. We are aware that the pandemic has been particularly hard on the FutureGen generation, who are still establishing their network within the industry. We aim to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere in which to do this.

Members are then invited to join us for a more informal networking session with drinks and canapes,  where our fantastic speaker, Claire Bradbury will discuss her book 'Dwellbeing: Finding a Home in the City'.

"International sustainability and wellbeing advocate, Claire Bradbury explores what we need to do to fall back in love with the city, and find our city homes again. City life can be hard. It can be stressful, costly, lonely, and even dangerous; making it difficult to tip the scale in favour of thriving, rather than just surviving. But it doesn't have to be this way. Dwellbeing calls us to stand firm on the seven pillars we love and so desperately need from our city homes: wilderness, nourishment, movement, connection, dwelling, imagination and unity".

The FutureGen network is targeted at young professionals in the first ten years of their careers in Real Estate and our objective is to provide an engaging educational and networking platform for the future leaders of our industry.  If you are not already a member of our FutureGen Network but would like to join, click here.
