The site visit will be moderated by Lloyd Craig, Senior Development Manager of Legal & General Investment Management.
The building will be Oxford Uni’s largest faculty building and the first to be built under LGIM’s JV. The scheme has interesting story, whereby it promotes collaboration between different science disciplines (zoology and plant science) and will house the INEOS Institute of Antimicrobial Research.
The scheme represents a departure from OU’s usual arrangement of using donations to fund and self-delivering. The building also has a very high sustainability criteria; built to Passivhaus principles and use of timber framing.
The site visit will start refreshments during a 15 minute presentation - this will be followed by a safety briefing and then a site walk of approximiately 45 minutes.
