Our final session of the day consists of three breakout groups that will focus on a different part of the real estate fund ecosystem.  These breakout sessions will all take the form of workshops, with a short presentation to start, followed by an opportunity for delegates to put this new found knowledge in to practice.  Delegates should book on one session only.

Asset Management

This asset management session will focus primarily on portfolio construction within real estate. Delegates will be given a brief overview of different fund strategies, e.g. Core, Value Add etc, before constructing their own portfolio from a pre-populated list of potential assets.

Clare Grimes

Investment Associate, Octopus Real Estate

Clare joined Octopus Real Estate in 2017. She specialises in transaction execution of commercial property lending transactions across the short-term and investment finance space.

Clare graduated in 2016 from Loughborough University with a BSc in Sociology and then graduated in 2021 from Henley Business School with a MSc in Real Estate Investment & Finance. She also holds a Diploma in Property Investment from the Investment Property Forum. She is currently working towards the MRICS qualification.

Taryn Mundy

Associate, CBRE Investment Management

Taryn joined CBRE Investment Management in 2021. Her role includes investment transactions, asset management and fund management across the CBRE UK Property PAIF and two separate account clients.

Prior to CBRE IM, Taryn worked at Cushman & Wakefield.

Taryn hold an MSc in Real Estate from Oxford Brookes University (2017) and is a member of the RICS (2019).
