We are delighted to announce the newest members joining the FutureGen Committee. As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering innovation and leadership within the real estate sector, these individuals bring fresh perspectives and valuable experience to the table.

The FutureGen Committee plays a crucial role in shaping the direction of the FutureGen Network, which provides emerging talent with opportunities to network, collaborate, and develop their professional skills. Our new committee members are passionate about supporting the next generation of leaders and driving forward the values of inclusivity, innovation, and excellence within the industry.

Meet Our New Committee Members

Hattie-Freer-Smith

Hattie-Freer-Smith

Assistant Fund Manager, Aviva Investors

Hattie is an Assistant Fund Manager at Aviva Investors working on the Real Estate Active Long Term Asset Fund (REALTAF) which was launched in April 2023. 

REALTAF adopts a research-led thematic investment strategy, allocating capital to our highest conviction sectors including Urban Warehousing, Rental Housing, Life Sciences, Data Centres and Film Studios. The fund has a 6% total return target on a 5 year rolling basis and was launched with £1.6bn of Aviva seed capital across 37 UK assets. 

Hattie worked on the fund prior to its launch focusing on strategy, ESG and asset selection. Hattie originally rotated through the Aviva Investors graduate scheme and worked for a year at Colliers International in the valuation department. Hattie has completed the Investment Management Certificate and holds a MSc in Real Estate from Cass Business School and a BA (Hons) in History from the University of Bristol. 

Danielle Hudson

Principal Associate , Mills & Reeve

Danielle joined Mills & Reeve in 2016 and is a Principal Associate in the Real Estate team. Danielle advises on all transactional real estate work including acquisitions and disposals, portfolio management and development work across the core investment markets of office, retail and industrial and logistics
Harvey Hurst

Harvey Hurst

Fund Accountant, Alter Domus

Harvey joined Alter Domus in January 2024 and is a Fund Accountant. His role includes financial reporting, transfer agency and other fund administration tasks across a range of real estate funds.  Prior to joining Alter Domus, Harvey completed BSc Accounting and Finance at the Leeds University Business School. Harvey is currently studying towards becoming a member of the ACCA.

Abbie Jones

Abbie Jones

Commercial Associate, Langham Hall

Abbie is a Commercial Associate at Langham Hall, where she assists managers with the setup and ongoing administration of their fund structures. She also works alongside the marketing team, providing support with the business’ external communications.

 Prior to joining Langham Hall, Abbie graduated from Pearson Business School, where she obtained a BA (Hons) in Business Management and Marketing.

Andrew Meaney

Andrew Meaney

Investment Associate, UK Transactions, PGIM Real Estate

Andrew Meaney is an Investment Associate at PGIM Real Estate. Based in London, Andrew is a member of the real estate equity transactions team deploying capital on behalf of PGIM’s European core, core-plus and value-add funds.

Prior to joining his current role in 2021, Andrew spent a year with the European debt team at PGIM.

Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of St Andrews.
