TNFD - Sector Guidance - Real Estate

The Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures ('TNFD') is consulting on Draft sector guidance - Engineering, construction and real estate. The draft guidance supplements the TNFD’s Guidance on assessing nature-related issues — the LEAP approach and should be read in conjunction with that guidance. Also, the draft sector guidance includes proposed guidance on the application of the core global disclosure metrics and proposals for sector-specific disclosure indicators and metrics.

TNFD welcomes feedback, provided via the TNFD website, by 27 September 2024. AREF is participating in a cross-association working group of ESG experts, which will be drawing up a model response. AREF will be basing its own response on this model response.

TNFD plan to issue the final sector guidance by 30 December 2024.
