Embracing innovation is vital to ensuring that the UK remains a world-leading centre for investment management. Earlier in the year the IA’s FinTech accelerator, Engine, and the Association of Real Estate Funds (AREF) joined forces to explore how technology is shaping the future of real estate funds.

Engine has lead a couple of programs we feel are of interest to AREF Members, see below for details.

Engine's SPARKS Program

SPARKS validates and develops pre-seed FinTech start ups in the asset and wealth management space. Eligible FinTechs will be able to apply to enter the programme by completing an application form including a 2 minute video and a Value Proposition Canvas.

Up to 3 FinTechs will ultimately be chosen for the programme and will have the opportunity to work closely with specific Engine Advisory Panel taskforces that sit in the areas of distribution, investments and operations.

The taskforces and the Engine team will review their offering, provide feedback and guidance, and ultimately assist in validating the solution and its place in the industry.

Engine's Global Partners Program

The Engine is joining forces with FinTech and investment centres around the world to build global momentum in FinTech for investment management.

Click the link below to view the latest global partnerships in the network and discover how they can support FinTech and investment management firms expanding out of and into the UK.
