The AREF FutureGen Conference 2025

Are you looking to promote your brand and network with individuals from our leading fund members.

We are delighted to announce that the highly regarded 1.5 day AREF FutureGen Conference will take place in September 2025 at the beautiful Worcester College, in Oxford.  

 

 

This is a unique opportunity to showcase your products and services to an audience of professionals in the industry, featuring expert speakers, panel discussions, break-out sessions and networking. 

The conference will host 100 delegates and feature:

  • Four plenary sessions (topics and formats to be agreed, which could include an inspirational speaker, a panel discussion and a fireside chat from a senior member of the industry).
  • Break-out sessions.
  • At least one site visit.
  • Networking opportunities.
  • B&B overnight accommodation, lunch, dinner, and a social event.

In both 2023 and 2024, the conference sold out and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from delegates and their firms. The event created a notable sense of enthusiasm and engagement across the industry, attracting representatives from some of the largest firms, including Aberdeen, Aviva Investors, BlackRock, CBRE IM, DTZ Investors, Fidelity International, Fiera RE, Federated Hermes, LaSalle IM, Nuveen RE, Mercer, Octopus RE, PGIM RE, Schroders, Townsend Group and Tritax, as well as many attendees from our affiliate member firms.

Sole Sponsor: £12,000 + VAT 'Entire Conference'

This comprehensive sponsorship package ensures maximum exposure and engagement, allowing your brand to take center stage leading up to, throughout the entire conference and beyond.

Prominent Brand Exposure

  • Recognition and display of your logo on all promotional campaigns leading up to the Conference throughout 2025. This includes:

    • Monthly newsletters (April/May/June/July/August/September)
    • Member emails - all email campaigns from AREF.
    • The AREF website - featuring a sponsor announcement in the resource library and on the event page.
    • Social media platforms (LinkedIn and X).
  • Inclusion of your logo and company name at multiple touchpoints, including:

    • Email confirmations sent to all delegates.
    • The conference events page and delegates' programme.
    • All presentation slides used during the conference.
    • Acknowledgment and tagging in social media posts before, during, and after the event.
    • A special mention by the Moderator during the conference.

Branding Opportunities

  • The ability to display your branding prominently throughout the conference venue as well as any evening venue. This includes banners, merchandise, and free gifts (to be supplied and funded by the sponsor).

Employee Benefits

  • Two complimentary places at the conference, including:
    • Overnight accommodation.
    • Access to all seminars, networking activities, and the social event.
    • Lunch, dinner, breakfast, and refreshments during breaks.

Speaker Opportunity

  • The opportunity to deliver a welcome address or speak during one of the sessions (subject to prior agreement with AREF).

Sponsorship of Networking Activity & Sit-down Dinner

  • The opportunity to sponsor the networking activity (last time it was punting, but subject to change based on the event). Your branding will be featured prominently during this activity, and you may have the chance to interact with delegates in a relaxed, social environment.

  • The opportunity to sponsor the sit-down dinner, providing a unique opportunity for direct engagement with attendees in an intimate setting. Your branding will be included throughout the dinner space, and you may have the option to make a brief address during the dinner or provide a toast.

Post-Event Recognition

  • Continued visibility after the conference through:
    • Recognition and logo inclusion in post-event communications.
    • Featured acknowledgment on the AREF website.
    • A dedicated mention in the September Newsletter.
    • Inclusion in the event write-up on our website, along with links to event photos.

Co-Sponsor: £5,000 + VAT (two packages available):

This co-sponsorship package offers significant exposure throughout the entire conference, providing your brand with maximum visibility before, during, and after the event. As a co-sponsor, you’ll have prominent branding opportunities across all conference activities, with co-sponsors selected to complement each other.

Clare is responsible for all aspects of the planning, development and execution of the marketing strategy for AREF. 

Clare leads on event management, liaising with committees and members to schedule, plan and deliver an effective events calendar for the association.  She also has overall responsibility for brand, as well as the design, development and production of marketing across both digital and offline channels, including the website.
