Thank you to those who joined our virtual event on Friday 4th March on the UK Treasury's Response to the Funds Regime Review Call for Input. It was a popular session with over 160 people registered to attend.
Moderator Julie Patterson, KPMG was joined by speakers Peter Capper, IA; Melville Rodrigues, Apex Group; Christopher Austin, Schroders and Sheelan Shah, Deloitte. Speakers presented on the significant legislative improvements for the UK real estate funds sector that include the Long-Term Asset Fund, Qualifying Asset Holding Company, Real Estate Investment Trust and Professional Investor Fund contractual scheme.
This was followed by a moderated interactive discussion about the improvements and implications for the real estate funds sector.
