As part of AREF’s ongoing commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), our DEI Taskforce has launched a new collaboration with Regeneration Brainery – a charity that aligns closely with this year’s focus on social mobility.

About Regeneration Brainery

Regeneration Brainery is an award-winning social mobility charity and aspirational academy, working with over 4,000 young people across the UK each year. Their mission is to inspire and mentor young people from underrepresented backgrounds, giving them the confidence, insight and connections they need to pursue careers in property and regeneration.

Through a mix of interactive workshops, work experience placements and industry mentoring, Regeneration Brainery offers real access and opportunity to the next generation of property professionals – helping to tackle the sector’s skills shortage while boosting diversity and inclusion across the industry.

How the DEI Taskforce is Supporting

The AREF DEI Taskforce will be actively promoting Regeneration Brainery’s work across our membership, raising awareness of their impact and organising a fundraiser later this year to support their ongoing efforts.

You’ll also see more of their CEO, Michelle Steele, throughout 2024 as she connects with our members and shares more about the Brainery’s work and mission.

We look forward to working with Regeneration Brainery and making a positive difference in the industry. Stay tuned for more details on our fundraising efforts and how you can get involved.
