AREF has prepared a Budget Submission, asking Chancellor Rachel Reeves to address crucial issues in her Budget on 30 October.
The submission outlines the association's recommendations to the Government, focusing on legislative and regulatory changes that will enable the commercial property sector to play a crucial role in supporting the UK's economic growth.
We welcome the Government’s vision for economic stability and growth, recognising the urgent need for more affordable housing, infrastructure improvements, and revitalised communities. AREF supports these goals, and our submission highlights key pathways the property fund industry can help, particularly through unlocking investment from UK Defined Contribution pension schemes into commercial real estate, enabling managers to launch the RIF as well as Tax reforms.
