AREF has prepared a Budget Submission, asking Chancellor Rachel Reeves to address crucial issues in her Budget on 30 October. Wanted! Members with valuation expertise!
AREF is looking to establish a working group to update fund valuation guidance relevant to our members, particularly around valuer employment and rotation. This follows the publication of the new RICS UK Red Book requirements. The working group will be chaired by John Forbes.

Update on our Mentorship Scheme
So far, we have had an incredible 90 mentees and 42 mentors sign-up from AREF and made 24 connections! In collaboration with CREFC Europe, our mentorship scheme is open to all members from both associations, offering our members a broad range of potential connections.

Public Policy Activity

AREF is busy engaging with regulators and government to ensure they hear the voice of the real estate industry when determining policy. We always welcome members participation; particularly to consultation response.
