This year has been another busy year for AREF. Thank you to all our members who have helped us, be it with committee work, attending working groups, helping us with all our lobbying on consultations, helping to run events, speaking at events and attending events both online and in person - the AREF Team is grateful to you all!
We can't wait for the New Year, we have lots planned for you, our members. Don't miss Vision 24, on 25th January, where we will discuss the outlook for the year ahead.

Award renamed as tribute to our former CEO, John Cartwright
It was with great shock and sadness that we learned recently of the passing of our former CEO, John Cartwright. As a tribute to John we have renamed one of our annual awards. The Outstanding Individual Contribution award will now be known as 'The John Cartwright Award for Outstanding Individual Contribution'.

Vision '24 Event: The outlook for the year ahead
We return to M&G's Auditorium on 25th January for our Vision '24 event where Neil Blake, Global Head of Forecasting and Analytics/EMEA at CBRE will be giving his views for the coming year. Moderated by Jonathan Bayfield, Head of Research at Aviva Investors Real Estate, our expert panel of speakers, including Jennifer Murray of Homes England and Richard Gwilliam, Head of Property Research at M&G Real Estate will explore what is in store for the economy.

Hold the Date! AREF Conference 2024
We are excited to announce the launch of our first Conference, taking place at the beautiful Merchant Taylors Hall in the City of London on Tuesday 25th June 2024.
The Conference will include a mix of speaker, panel and breakout sessions, lunch and in the evening it will be followed by our highly popular AREF Summer Drinks Reception.
